Corea-Sotropa-Interior-Design_Concept-Development_VIP-lounge-blog-headerWith just a few days to go until the Battle in the Barracks, we thought it would be fun to share our concept for the VIP lounge. Eric & Christi Barber, the owners of CrossFit Currie Barracks wanted to provide a comfortable lounge for the event sponsors in which they could eat, drink, relax and watch the competition.  Though space is limited, our focus when designing the space was to provide soft seating and a feeling of exclusivity while paying homage to the stripped down industrial vibe that CrossFit is known for. West Elm was a natural fit for the project as they offer a product that is always on trend, socially conscious and had the clean aesthetic that we were after. Michelle Huag, the owner of Konfero Art Gallery, has graciously agreed to lend us several amazing original art pieces for the event. The art has a raw edginess that will be perfect in completing our design.
