We’re wrapping up the renovation of a luxe executive office project and I’m really excited about how this one turned out. The finishes are masculine and modern with lots of brushed gold finishes, cerused oak millwork and dark herringbone limestone. We’re still patiently waiting on a custom light fixture and most of the furniture which should be arriving shortly. The vintage brass and glass meeting room table we got on 1st Dibs has been on a shipping adventure from New York City to Los Angeles to somewhere in Minnesota, to Chicago and now is reportedly on its way to Montana where it will be processed by our broker and then sent to Calgary (we hope with fingers crossed). This table has seen almost as many states as I have! We’ve got the kitchen sconces installed – you can read more about the options we presented in our earlier post On the Hunt for Statement Sconces (our client selected the 1st choice) and they look fabulous. I just couldn’t resist sharing some snaps of a few of my favourite details of this luxe space as we wait on the final touches.
Clockwise from top left: Cerused oak doors and gold hardware from Emtek (love that square back plate), brushed gold kitchen faucet (purchased through The Royal Flush) and herringbone limestone backsplash, reception desk black & hammered gold Tom Dixon light fixture, brushed gold bathroom faucet and Hicks’ Hexagon wall paper.
As you can see, there is lots to love about this project! Once we’re all through and the client is settled in, I promise to show you more.
