In our last post about this home, we focused on the main floor which was full of pops of colour and punchy details. This week we’ll be walking you through the master bedroom and bathroom, in which we created a more subtle and relaxing space.
We wanted this master suite to become a personal retreat for our clients where they could go to press pause on their busy day-to-day lives. We went with a more neutral palette to achieve our goal of serenity.
The beautiful nightstands featured above were handmade by our client’s father-in-law! The agate slice knobs were sourced from Anthropologie (one of our favourite places to source artisanal hardware!). If you look closely you’ll notice the delicate shimmering Osborne and Little wallcovering that we chose to add a little of our signature sparkle to an otherwise subdued space.
The transitional hallway between the bedroom and bathroom is home to a gorgeous built-in-dresser that our client uses to store all of her smaller clothing items and accessories. We also included a bench to sit down and kick off her stilettos at the end of the day!
The hallway leads us to this stunning master bathroom! This is the definition of #BathroomGoals. The floor of the bathroom is a gorgeous marble tile with a chevron detail and it is an absolute show-stopper! We continued the same tile specification for the shower niche detail.
We loved how much natural light this space had to offer so we chose to have the windows obscured with a frosted film rather than to install drapery. The natural light is perfect for makeup application (aka. flawless blending), so we included a makeup vanity just for Jill so that she could have her own space to get ready!
Now, are you ready to have your mind blown? The middle mirror between the two sinks at the vanity (below)…THAT’S A TV!
Welcome to the future, ladies, and gentlemen! Now you can catch up on the news or last night’s episode of The Bachelor while you’re getting ready.
We have so much more to show you from the Rosemont Residence but if you just can’t wait, head on over to #IHRosemont to see behind the scenes details of this beautiful space!
