This beautifully appointed custom home was built for the family of one of the owners of Calgary builder Dream Ridge Homes. This was the fourth home they had designed and built for themselves, so their practical requirements had become very clear for this project. What were not quite so clear were the aesthetic requirements. As many design and building professionals will tell you, completing a project for yourself can leave you racked with indecision. Sometimes an outside perspective on matters of style and aesthetic can help to sort through the distraction of options, bringing confidence and clarity to the decision-making process.

It was no surprise that this family of avid travelers was attracted to modern European details. Our team of interior designers guided these savvy clients through all the aesthetic considerations, crafting a practical and durable family home with the heart of a Parisian pied-de-terre.
