It’s safe to say that everybody loves a good before and after… and this one is going to blow you away!

These returning clients were so content with the master bathroom renovation by Reena and Alanna that they asked us to come back and design every bathroom in their house! This post unveils their main floor powder room transformation.

Our clients knew that it was time to part with the red damask patterned wallpaper in all of its glory and the aim of the game was to keep the dramatic and bold vibe but to add a fresh, new spin on the space. We were up for the challenge!

The distinction between the black and white in the Dalmatian patterned Thibaut wallpaper created the illusion of spaciousness in this compact powder room. We kept the existing vanity and had it painted a whimsical shade of blue to give the bathroom an unexpected pop of colour. To top off the vanity (literally) we had the existing granite counter replaced with a honed black granite top.

We swapped out the existing wall sconce for this mid-century inspired fixture from Rejuvenation Lighting and we selected a new brass faucet and coordinating cabinet pulls to tie this bold Marda Loop Powder Room project together.

Our client said that this was his favourite makeover in their house! We’ll let you be the judge. Check out #IHMardaLoop on Instagram to see some behind-the-scenes shots from this project and the other spaces in their beautiful home.
