Reena has been a principal designer with the firm since its inception in 2005 and has successfully navigated the firm through all that the ever-changing design world and economy have thrown at her.
Reena strongly believes that her team-based approach to projects is the key to providing the high level of customer service that Reena Sotropa In House Design Group has come to be known for. She approaches each project organically, assessing the needs of the client and the shifting demands of the project while keeping her team focused, organized, and happy. Reena loves to collaborate with her clients and her talented team of designers contributing her own design aesthetic and years of experience on each project that passes through our doors.
Originally from Saskatchewan, Reena identifies with the can-do spirit and entrepreneurial hustle that defines Calgary. Reena and her husband have a (borderline problematic) affinity for DIY renovation projects which has resulted in an impressive collection of power tools and a weird resume of acquired knowledge and skills that would make Bob Vila blush! They are currently working on plans for a new home which they fervently hope will be completed before their daughter leaves for college.
