It has been a crazy (crazy, amazing! craz-mazing?) year and just because the temperature was rising, didn’t mean there was any reason to slow down! If you’re anything like us, summer is chock-full of projects and goal-crushing. We can’t believe that it’s coming to an end but we most definitely look back on Summer 2017 with pride.
We are almost 100% settled in to our new office space! We moved in the beginning of March and aside from a few decor items, we are all set. We don’t want to give too much away so here’s a sneak-peek of the office. Stay tuned! Coming soon is a full tour of our awesome new pad…[left]
Plus, check out our beautiful new custom pressed business cards made for us by the talented, Dolce Press!
We were so lucky to have Kaelan join our team as an intern this summer! Kaelan worked part time for us this summer between his first and second year of his Interior Design degree at Mount Royal University. Having Kaelan around this summer was amazing and we are so going to miss his huge support to our design team, his ability to reach all of the items on the tall shelves but mostly his bartending skills.
Good Luck, Kaelan! Thank you for everything this summer.
[left]Our wine drinking, world traveling, junior designer, Ania, celebrated her 1st year anniversary with the team and what a year it’s been! She joined our team just before her graduation from the Interior Design program at Mount Royal last year and we’re so lucky that she did. Can’t get enough of Ania? Read all about her, here!

Next up on the anniversary list is our cat loving, senior designer and resident plant lady, Alanna Dunn who celebrated her 5th year anniversary with us on July 16th! Alanna is a vital part of the team and we are beyond fortunate to have her. Stay tuned, you’ll be finding out a lot more about Alanna in the weeks to come!

Last but certainly not least was the project that has been four years in the making – The Maillot Show Home. This show home is almost 9000 square feet so you can only imagine just how much team effort was required to make this happen. This project truly took a village and lucky for us, we have one of the best villages around!
Prepare to be amazed! Follow along the construction and design progress on Instagram via #IHSilverhorn. The show home is open to the public every Saturday and Sunday from 9am – 5pm at 129 Silverhorn Ridge.
